What is the SMU past due fee? ›

If you have a past due balance on your account, you are subject to a past due fee of 1.5% per month on the unpaid balance. For example, if you have a balance of $20,000.00 and you do not pay it by the payment due date, you are subject to a past due fee of $300.00. Past due fees are non-reversible and non-disputable.

SMU provides a secure website through which you can make credit card (VISA, MasterCard, Discover and American Express) and electronic check payments to your SMU accounts. What major credit cards may I use? SMU accepts VISA, MasterCard, Discover and American Express.

SMU refunds are processed by Heartland ECSI RefundSelect. Please sign up for a direct deposit by clicking on MYRefundSMU and following the instructions.

Because it is a prestigious and private school, the cost is high but do not hesitate to apply, financial aide is available. SMU is pretty expensive.

From 1987, SMU had a long history of recruiting violations, mostly paying players and their families. The NCAA investigation found that school officials, including the athletic director and the board of governors, knew about the payments and continued them even while on probation. The 1987 season was canceled entirely.

Once you have reviewed all the necessary information and are ready to commit, you must accept your fall experience by paying your enrollment deposit of $800 by May 1 to secure your spot in the Spring Entry Program.

SMU's tuition is also higher than, or nearly as high as, most other Ivy League schools or schools ranked higher in the nation, including Harvard and Yale. SMU's annual undergraduate tuition, including housing and other fees, has increased by 87.35% in the last 10 years, from $34,593 to $60,585.

Is SMU the most expensive school in Texas? ›

SMU is the most expensive college in Texas and also ranks 17th on the national list for 2022. According to a previous Business Journals story, SMU has been Texas' most expensive college since 2019. For the fiscal year 2022, the full price for tuition and room and board at SMU cost a whopping $81,074.

The maximum refund for each course in BOSS Bidding Round is as follows: e$50 (Round 1 & 1A), e$40 (Round 1B), e$30 (Round 2) and e$10 (Round 2A). In the event that a programme is cancelled or postponed, you will be notified via email. If a course is cancelled, SMU Academy will cancel the participant's enrolment and refund the nett course fee received. If a course is postponed, SMU Academy will transfer the participant's enrolment to the rescheduled dates.

Once your withdrawal request has been processed and updated to our official records, the Registrar's Office will inform you via your SMU email to collect your Withdrawal letter.

The Summer Studies Loan program has a 6 month grace period so that borrowers begin repayment on the first day of the seventh month upon graduating from an SMU undergraduate program, falling below half-time undergraduate enrollment status, or withdrawing from the university as an undergraduate.

A $30 non-refundable enrollment fee is assessed for enrollment in the payment plan. A $65 late payment fee will be charged for any balance not paid by the final due date of the semester. The payment plan amount will be recalculated as charges increase or decrease due to schedule changes.

If you miss a payment deadline, your payment will be considered overdue. You will be contacted by the Credit Control team and asked to pay by another method.
